About Us

In the middle of the Sonoran Desert, where the sun slowly ripens the date fruit, a group of women decided to join forces and transform our land into something bigger.

This is how Makave del Desierto was born, a cooperative formed by women farmworkers, proud of our roots and determined to add value to what we sow.

From that passion our Date Coffee was born:

A natural, smooth and aromatic drink, made with Medjool dates from San Luis Río Colorado and a touch of coffee.

And in 2024, our creation was recognized with 3rd place for best drink at the International Date Palm Festival.

A new space where natural, artisanal and intentionally made products are honored.

It's not just coffee.
It's history, effort and desert flavor in every cup.
